FC5T1 and Fatal Error 11 on Laptop Installation?

(Apologies to the group if this is not the right place for this question)

FC2, 3 and 4 (and various test releases) install and run fine on a 
Toshiba Tecra 9100 Laptop.

FC5, Test 1, on initial install, after "/sbin/loader", I get the blue 
OHCI1394 driver screen, then the start up process fails with an 
"abnormal program termination", followed by a fatal "signal 11", and 
proceeds to shut down.

Tried various boot options (nofb, apm=off, noapic, acpi-off, nousb etc), 
all no help.

Anyone have any ideas?
