fonts is not redrawn properly in firefox and misssing in qt applications fc5 with gnome 2.14.1

Menu firefox fonts are not display at all unless I point the mouse 
course at the before they'll display. I have read access to all truetype 
fonts and other fonts. The fonts disappears in qt and kde applications 
and do not show at all. Is there a way to get more log information about 
fonts rendering in Xorg. By the way I have also update fc-cache.
