I don't want to hurt your feelings Eric but Rawhide is the *development*
branch of Fedora. The alpha and beta type packages if you will. It can
get rough and some things are broken often.
I would suggest that you reinstall Fedora 8, the latest release version
you were using before, and learn to use Linux with it. Come back to
Rawhide when you know more about Linux.
