Yes, it was the first thing I noted on F7, too. Also for larger fonts,
subpixel rendering now lead to colored shades at the left and right of
the characters. I have tried to adjust the font settings, but I was
unable to restore the crispy clear look of FC6.

Is it related to bug 198082?
