mplayerplug-in problem?

I've been playing with F7 and really like it so far but I've run into 
one snag.  I yummed mplayer and mplayerplug-in from livna 
(developement) and I can't get the plugin to work.  At least it 
doesn't work on my favorite radio station kfi640.com.  It worked just 
fine with FC6.  Could somebody else give it a try and see if it works 
for them?  Or tell me that it won't work - what could I be thinking :-
).
