Support for Fake-Raid controllers(NV CK804 and SiL 3118)

Since these have been marginal for quite some time, should we be
reporting bugs on install failures for either of these controllers or
are they just so hopelessly poor h/w that it's not worth the effort?

This is not a criticism of Fedora or the kernel, just a sincere question
knowing that resources are limited and some problems just aren't worth
the effort.
