usb printer again not printing, not all cd drives show up, and nautilus starts up upon rebooting

I have just updated the desktop * the one that did not
get the updates and the usb printer is not printing *

[olivares localhost ~]$ uname -a
Linux localhost 2.6.21-1.3194.fc7 #1 SMP Wed May 23
22:35:01 EDT 2007 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux
[olivares localhost ~]$

part of dmesg follows

Another thing that I have not mentioned is that
nautilus always starts up at the beginning. I see a
file nautilus-debug-log.txt in the home directory.

[olivares localhost ~]$ cat nautilus-debug-log.txt
===== BEGIN MILESTONES =====
0x9426098 2007/05/24 13:04:28.5903 (GLog):
"nautilus-directory.c: directories" hash table still
has 1 element at quit time (keys above)
0x9461258 2007/05/24 13:04:28.6314 (USER): debug log
dumped due to signal 11
===== END MILESTONES =====
===== BEGIN RING BUFFER =====

0x9461258 2007/05/24 13:04:28.6314 (USER): debug log

===== END RING BUFFER =====

This configuration for the debug log can be re-created
by putting the following in ~/nautilus-debug-log.conf
(use ';' to separate domain names):

[debug log]
max lines=1000
[olivares localhost ~]$

How do I fix this? In the Laptop also running
RAWHIDE, upon fixing GNOME, I do not get this
behavior.

Again the other cd drive does not show up, if I remove
the cd in there.

[olivares localhost ~]$ cdrecord -scanbus
