Evolution composer keeps 'stalling'

Hi All

Recently I've noticed evolution's composer will stop responding
periodically and then all of a sudden react again.  You can type during
these pauses, but nothing appears while you type and then it all appears
as the stall resumes. (if that makes sense).  It seems like it stalls
about every minute or so and for about 10 seconds.

Anyone else noticing this?
