I tend to store temporary files on the desktop - things like log excerpts that are only needed for a day or two. On the new KDE desktop doing that shows them as 'widgets' with the accompanying right-click menu. This just doesn't seem appropriate. Move to Wastebin and Delete are not available. Anne
