Thanks Tom and Horst. I have gotten rid of gnome-screensaver package and CPU is back to normal :). I don't use screensaver, I just like to blank screen after two minutes with power management. At least I have a working setup for one of my important machines.

PS
NOW. To KDE, Plasma crashes right away, no panels, no clock nothing, no bug traces. Can't do much :(
