When you do a sector level clone of a partition to another partition on the
same disk, you wind up with two partitions assigned the same UUID. I have a
disk with 16 partitions in /dev/disk/by-uuid and 23 in /dev/disk/by-path.
This is not a problem in fstab, where I use LABELs instead of UUID. However,
grub is refusing to cooperate, with error 12, which I suspect must be a fault
of multiple UUIDs. Is there some utility that can change one or a group of
UUIDs on a disk?
