If you use the same programs, the same config, and the same packages,
then what's the difference?

(Answer: a few hours of your time, a few more GB of disk space, and not
much else)

If you don't *need* to test with DVD media specifically, then
network-based installs will save you the need for those hours of time
and GB of disk space.
