Keyboard repeat delay too short

I noticed I was making a lot of double letter typos, so I went into
System > Preferences > Hardward > Keyboard
and made the delay as long as possible, but this had little effect. The
delay is still too short.
Under Fedora 9, keyboard was fine. On Fedora 10, I noticed this since
installing the beta on October 1.
