Ya.  This spin is phenomenally slower than the last one - for some
reason the gnome stuff is CPU bound.  Also, I'm now getting errors from
pulseaudio and nautilus.  Could gnome-settings-daemon be the culprit?
It certainly seems to be at the top of the process table.
