Laptop locks up on F10 beta

Sorry for replying to myself but I tried xfce and resizing
gnome-terminal also caused a lockup. But then I tried switching to the
vesa driver after doing "X -configure" to generate an x.org config
file and everything seems to be OK now.

I seem to be suffering from this bug:

I see some updates have appeared today so will keep testing and adding
info to this bug..
