Please file a bug on this issue. File on the driver for your video card
(xorg-x11-drv-intel if it's an Intel adapter, xorg-x11-drv-nouveau if
it's an NVIDIA, xorg-x11-drv-ati if it's a Radeon), and
include /var/log/Xorg.0.log (and state that there's
no /etc/X11/xorg.conf , as I assume there isn't) and the output of
'xrandr' run at a console. thanks!
