F11 Preview: two more issues

Guys,
  two more issues:
1) My webcam (Creative VF-0040) works on Cheese, but I can't get it to work w/ anything else. Skype, mebeam etc. Any suggestion?

2) When I reboot the PC hangs right after the progress bar reached its end.
