I tried this on two different systems.

The upgrade succeeded,  but X did no work in some cases during the
upgrade and in some cases after the upgrade.  I lot can change in 2
weeks, so it may work fine now, but use extreme caution.  The normal
warnings about using rawhide for anything important apply.
