That discussion was caused by this problem, and the resolution was for
now adding sendmail explicitly to Base so that exim is not chosen.

The "replace-sendmail-with-(postifx|exim|fooMTA)" or
"remove-MTA-requirement" decision has been postponed to F13 (maybe).
