no sound

Hi list
I use F10 on a DELL D630. I have installed F10 a first and then all goes right.
Next, I have re installed it and this time, I have a problem with the sound card. I could not hear sound nor in kde neither in gnome. 
the sound card seems to be a intel STAC 92xx.
I have tried different configurations with gnome and kde configuration tools but with no success. Could you help please.
