Greetings:

Thanks for all of the help from everyone who commented on this one...

What worked for me:

1) create custom directory in normal user home directory
2)using wget, retrieve the two files
3) created fedora-livecd-testday.ks using the content from the guide
4) add 'seline --permissive' after the %include line
5) su -l [enter root password]
6) run the final command to create the livecd
