Well, not really. it's a solution to the same problem. I can see the
thought flow from "liveusb-creator doesn't work" to "use unetbootin
instead". That's rather similar to what I did to install on my
non-optical-drive-having netbook, actually (couldn't get
livecd-iso-to-disk to work, used unetbootin instead).
