Didn't realise that they had added SELinux to the X server. I do
get some messages like:
type=USER_AVC msg=audit(1236652173.576:167): user pid=3251 uid=0 auid=4294967295 ses=4294967295 subj=system_u:system_r:xserver_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 msg='avc: denied null for request=XKEYBOARD:SelectEvents comm=xev xdevice="Virtual core keyboard" scontext=unconfined_u:unconfined_r:unconfined_t:s0 tcontext=system_u:system_r:xserver_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 tclass=x_device : exe="/usr/bin/Xorg" (sauid=0, hostname=?, addr=?, terminal=?)'
and Xorg.0.log contains a couple of:
(EE) Kensington Kensington Expert Mouse: Read error: Resource temporarily unavailable
Though none occur at a frequency that corresponds to the problem...hmmm.
I'll run with setenforce 0 for a while and see if there is any difference..
Things seem to work okay for a while after a reboot. Still gathering data
(while trying to get real work done...)
