I found the changes which totally emasculated lm_sensors to
be pretty confusing and they don't appear to be documented
anywhere other than replies to the lm_sensors bugzillas
which keep getting closed as NOTABUG, so no one finds them
when they look for bugs :-).

Perhaps a mention in the FAQ or release notes would be
