does a fully updated beta correspond to an updated preview?

  i'm still running on a fully-updated f86_64 beta.  does this roughly
correspond to a fully-updated preview in terms of testing?  i just
don't have time to install the preview but i'd like to continue some
debugging so, if i stay on top of the updates, am i still mostly in
sync with preview testing?  thanks.
