Open discussion
Defining Release Candidate testing
jlaska asked whether providing "official" test summaries around areas
tested, areas not tested, known issues would be useful for release
engineering to make a decision. Jesse indicated he dislikes making the
release decision by himself, especially when it's late at night and no
one is around.

jlaska asked if there is value in defining how the release candidate
phase works now? Jesse approved and recommended a separate meeting to
discuss further.

Take aways ...
* Begin documenting how the release candidate phase works now
* Experiment during F12 with scheduled release meetings

Needs Retesting
While reviewing SELinux Block bugs, jlaska asked if we had a stock
response for requesting retesting. Adamw noted that a "please retest"
didn't yet exist in BugZappers/StockBugzillaResponses. Jesse
pointed to the RSS feed for NEEDS_TESTING bugs
(http://feeds.feedburner.com/NeedsRetesting).

This led to discussion on how Rawhide bugs work through the system.
Adamw recommended just closing as fixed when the developer checks in
something they're pretty sure fixes it. Jesse & Will reminded that
during freezes, bugs shouldn't transition to CLOSED/RAWHIDE until the
package has been tagged for rawhide. It was discovered that the wiki
page BugZappers/BugStatusWorkFlow didn't capture closing bugs for
rawhide, only stable releases. Adam took an action item to update.

RelEng Proposal to drop Alpha
viking_ice reminded that a proposal is circulating for dropping F12
Alpha. Jesse directed folks to fedora-devel-list
(https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-devel-list/2009-May/msg00311.html) to participate in the discussion.

Day]]
* 2009-05-12 - BugZappers/Triage_days
* 2009-05-14 - iBus Test Day

* [wwoods] - write a few more upgrade cases (encrypted root upgrade)
* [adamw] - update BugZappers/BugStatusWorkFlow wiki page to include
MODIFED->CLOSE process for rawhide bugs during freeze
