Hi,

I normally do a "cvs -z 9 update -Pd", but not even with the option "-d"
enabled it created the new directory (system-switch-mail). I didn't know

module again :D (notice you'll lose all changes in your sandbox that are
not committed, if you do so).

It seems that 'cvs update -Pd' has a problem with aliased directories (I have already faced that with Mandrake's CVS :-). You need to checkout the entire module (like you did) or under translate/ this would have worked too (that's what I did last week):

$ cvs co -d system-switch-mail system-switch-mail/po

which will create a directory system-switch-mail/ under translate/ with only the corresponding POs.

There are methods to do that, but I unsubsubscribed and my signature is readable at all times.
