Script to merge .po files

Hello,
Since we from Brazilian Portuguese Translation Team had problems to merge out of date .po files, our friend Diego Búrigo Zacarão came up with this 
script to merge them with all .pot ones. We are using this script to check weekly the real status of our translation and to update the language files. 
We know that it happens with other languages too, so we decided to translate it to English and make it available for all the translators. Feel free to 
modify and make it better.
