It worked fine for me : 

./build_my_lang_translate_module_checkout_script.sh -p --user=mrtom fr
./checkout_my_fr_language.sh

Do you have options or things you want us to test to debug it more ?

Thanks for the script ! I saved 245 Mo on my disk and made rh server
suffer less :)
