Report for a typing miss (or useless gibbering!?)

Hi members,

(Sorry for a too short message for the list.)
According to line 7724 of (cvs-root)/specspo/dist/summary/suammary.pot:

(7724): msgid "Tools for fromating Texinfo documentation files using
TeX"

I can't find out the word "fromating" or "fromate" in my English
dictionary.  Furthermore, when I search it with Google, it says "Did
you mean: formatting".
Isn't this a typing miss?  Or is it a special word for this?  Please
check it and tell whether.
