I tried by opening a bug report against compiz (which owns
desktop-effects), but had no luck so far, maybe you do better:

There's also quite a few other modules missing in Tx, the best thing
is to ask the maintainers directly to get them to include those,
although sometimes it takes a very long time until something is done
unfortunately...
