What happened to inetd.conf?

Well, it's been replaced with xinetd, that's what.

So, if you upgrade from 6.x or earlier to 7.0 and you'd hacked up
inetd.conf, look to the /etc/xinetd.d/<servicename> to fix stuff.

I noticed rsh defaults to being "on", for one thing.

Don't get me wrong -- xinetd is nicer in many ways than inetd, but it
threw me for a loop at first.
