Thanks for the info. I think you can get around that by
modifying /etc/rc.d/init.d/ypbind, commenting out the following
line:
OTHER_YPBIND_OPTS="-broadcast"
While you're at it, you might want to make it:
OTHER_YPBIND_OPTS="-no-ping"
Does anyone at RedHat have anything to report about yp? There's
a ticket in Bugzilla that I'm concerned about.
