Just do it. You can have volume labels or old-style dev entries in
the same fstab, with some drives being /dev/something and others being
LABEL=. RHL7 just does the new volume-label syntax on new installs; I
don't think it'll convert your fstab if you upgrade from a previous
version of RHL.
Furthermore, this change only affects local mounts. Network mounts
(like samba) use the same syntax as they did before.
