Red Hat 7.0 & Star Office 5.2 problem

I have a big problem with Star Office 5.2 on some Red Hat 7.0 box.
After installing Star Office and the first execution, comes the Internet 
Connexion dialog box and after a Fatal Error Dialog Box that tell-me to 
close star office and restart it. When restarting star office, the same 
ugly fatal error and no more information if started from an xterm.
This problem occur only with nis account. The NIS Server is a Solaris.
When attempt to start Star Office from local root account, no fatal 
error problem.

After search in dejanews about fatal error problem in star office, 
people talk about glibc problem.
But this problem can be reproduce with Red Hat 6.2 & 7.0 and Star Office 
5.1 & 5.2, all combination tested.
So maybe a .profile problem.

Star Office have been installed in /opt directory like this ./setup -net
But the problem can be reproduce if a standart installation is used (not 
a network install -net).
