It would help to know what type of NIC it is.  Especialy if it is an ISA
or PCI card.  PCI cards are usualu detected fine, but ISA cards are a
bit more work.  If it is a PCI card, then you can probably configure
your network,, and then bring up the interface.  I haven't played with
7.0 yet, so I am not sure if the network configuration tool is still an
option of control pannel, or if this has been changed.  I am sure
someone else on the list will let you know about that. I tend to use
the command line tools myself.
