If you find the fix for reading CDs, let me know. I have the same
problem, but I have not gotten around to finding the fix for it yet.
For me, it is with the 2.2.16 kernel on 6.2.
For all my searching, there doesn't seem to be a fix other than upgrading
to a newer kernel. :o(
