can not configer modem on the new kernel

Hi
I have a USrobatic modem that worked on the 6.1 redhat release. now I just
installed the new redhat 7 and it can not find my modem at all. I also
recompiled the kernel to include the modem modules but I could not find any
entry in the 'xconfig' for modems. please help me configer tthis modem "It
is not a winmodem "
the modem is ISA modem USrobatic PnP 56 kbps
