Samba and Internet

 I have a strange problem. I have two win32 systems that log on to my
Guinness machine via samba. The problem is they are only able to
successfully log in when the Guinness box is online. I've never seen
anything like this before, but it must be something I've done, as no one
else has mentioned it yet:) Anyone know where I can start looking to ferret
this one out?
