Hi
It´s a bit off topic but I thought someone could help me out anny ways.
I have an RH 6.2 with the 2.2.12 kernel and a working RAID configuration.
Now to the problem I want to upgrade to the 2.2.17 kernel... (I used an
*.tar version)
I have tried to compile it the RAID support within the kernel or as a module
but I can´t get
it to work....
I asked someone about some raidtools but the raidtools that ftp.kernel.org
has is for kernel 2.2.11 and
I don´t want to use a kernel under 2.2.16 cuze of the exploit risk in lower
kernels.
I also have tried to upgrade to the 2.2.16 kernel with rpm but then I blow
the system again and was forced to
reinstall the whole system again...
Need help badly on this one... hope I have given enough information ...
