Those files "marked to be skipped" are either kernel upgrades, or they are
being skipped because upgrading them would overwrite a config file you
have manually modified. You wouldn't want yuor services to suddenly stop
working for no appararant reason, would you? You can use the RHN web
client to upgrade these files anyway, and *.rpmsave files will be made
with your old config files in them.

You can see how it works. Right now, everybody with a username and
password on the Red Hat website can use RHN to administer one machine. You
don't even need to have one of those 16-character product ID's to use this
feature. (IE: .iso downloaders Welcome!) If you don't have a login and
password for Red Hat's website, just sign up for one. The only thing you
can't really lie about is the email address. By default- your're not
getting any mail from us, although you can certainly select to get a
bunch.
