It is under syslog (2000-09-18 at least for RH 7.0). You just have to guess
where they are [try SysVinit or nscd) ;o)

Subject: RedHat 7.0 Updates
I seem to be missing something from the RedHat website.
I have built a system with RedHat 7.0 from CD. I want to see what updates
exist for it and why they exist. I can goto the FTP server and look in the
RedHat 7.0 updates directory and look under the noarch and iX86 directories
and there are plenty of updates.
But why are they there? For example, in the 7.0/i386 directory exists
sysklogd-1.3.33-8.i386.rpm. The original release included 1.3.33-6
When I look at the 7.0 security advisories, bug fixes and package
enhancement notices, I find nothing about the sysklogd package.
When I look at the 6.2 security advisories, there is one for sysklogd for
version 1.3.31.
Where can I find a reason for the RedHat 7.0 update?
Thanks,
Dave Goldsmith
