Does it really swear at you?;-)

When LILO is loading stuff, it prints the letters L I L O as a progress 
indicator. If you read the LILO documentation, you will see what it means.

I assume that reading it's a bit difficult just now, so I will mail you a copy 
of the relevant document separately;-)


You should also go looking for your local LUG. PLUG, I know, sometimes has an 
install-fest - bring your computer, take it home with Linux all over it;-)
