Can anybody tell me how you add a hard drive to your computer. I'm thinking maybe the process goes a little like this:
- fdisk: Create a primary and extended partition on /dev/sdb
- mke2fs: mke2fs -b 1024 -c -i 1024 /dev/sdb
- mount /dev/sdb /
Is the mount command above correct? I currently have one 8.5GB hard drive /dev/sda which has two partitions... / and
/swap. I simply want to mount /dev/sdb so that I now have one ~17GB partition.../.
Thanks
