fatal error (more than 1024) cylinders

hi to all,
i have install RH7.0 on my system at home i didnt choose to install lilo but the first sector of boot partiton.
at the end of installation when system write the boot configuration display fatal error more than 1024 cylenders
thank god i have boot disk then i boot into the system and run fdisk on it .this display a warning message that
you have more than 1024 cylinder there is no problem with it but you may face some problems with lilo or other older OS like dos 6.22
then i choose "x" option(advance option in fdisk) and change the cylinders to 1024 and write it on the disk but it didnt work at all.

i have a dual boot with NT.now when i restart and boot into NT it didnt ....at all.

how can i can into NT system now??

this is my problem ....suggestion will  be appreciated.
