mouse y keyboard problem

Hello,

I have instaled Redhat 7 on my home pc, 
but sometimes I have problems with the mouse and
keyboard. (just hang in the gnome login)

Yes, its sound very stupid but I need to reboot the
system because i have not choice! very bad :-(
I dont have dual boot system with windows to try if
this is hardware problem or not.

My question is: anyone have similars problems? 
what conf files i need to review?
May be i will need to install Rh6.2 and see the
result...

pd: mouse is Ps/2 GENIus and the keyboard is standard
AMD Athlon 800 mhz, 256 mb, 20 gb WD, us robotic ext.
