Nobody knows.  I haven't known anyone who has _ever_ seen those menu
items work, though I seem to recall seeing one deja post a few years
back which said it worked for them.  

In any case, it's never worked for me, and never for anyone I've
spoken to, emailed, or heard on a newsgroup.  I don't believe it works
in any way.

(FWIW, the equivalent options in Mozilla work flawlessly on my
machine, so I doubt it's a config problem.)
