No, the rule of thumb is to check Linux on Laptops
<URL:http://www.cs.utexas.edu/users/kharker/linux-laptop/>.
There are many reasons that mfr's might not load Linux on a given
laptop (e.g., that they don't support Linux at all), or they don't
think there would be a demand for it.
