Hello Andy
Go to www.linuxdoc.org and get "Linux Administrator Security Guide".
Learn how to configure your system securely. Build a firewall.
Check www.securityfocus.com on a daily basis (OR subscribe to the BugTraq
mailing list).
On RH7 you can create the Tripwire database to control your files, and
check them daily against the original database (read Tripwire's
documentation).
You can check your system with tools like chkrootkit, nessus and COPS from
time to time.
Best regards
Miguel Dilaj

Subject: security question
I plan on doing alot of research on security issues.
Is www.linuxdoc.org the best place to start?
What I would really like to kow from the list is:
Does anyone have any daily security routines/rituals they perform
to monitor the integrity of his/her linux systems?
-Andy
