oh dear it's up2date again

Hi group,

Having hassle with up2date.... have been following up2date discussion on wolverine list but must post in the right list now mustn't I?

Have configured for our proxy server , but when I run I get

a)   a nasty wheezing cough and the feeling I'm gonna die...
b)   traceback (innermost / last)
     usr/sbin/up2date, line 9 , in ?
     import rpm
     Import Error : undefined symbol : rpmSet Verbosity

Any help apperciated....
